Young couple currently seeking a residence near McMaster University in Hamilton, ON.
(1280 Main Street West).
The closer the better, but willing to live within a few kms of the campus. This includes Dundas and Westdale areas.

We are looking at 1 bedroom apartments (high and/or low rise), as well as basement apartments/in-law suites/etc. 
*For houses: please note we are only interested in private entrance/separate dwelling (ie. our own floor).
*Very important that building/house be quiet atmosphere as one of us works from home, and would need to be able to work uninterrupted daily in a professional manner and calm environment. The other will be attending regular classes at McMaster, and will need quiet area for studying before and after class.
*No student houses please, not looking for a place to party.

We do require a location that is cat friendly.

Hoping to find rent ( utilities, inclusive or not) no higher than $800.00 monthly.

We would need to move in for Sept 1 /12, with very little flexibility on that, although if it is within a few days of the 1st it might work.
8 or 12 month rental period, with potential to renew.
